  • If you exercise outdoors, do it early in the morning.

  • Apply sunscreen lotion to protect your skin, lip gel, wear sunglasses and a hat or cap when you go out. Exposure of your skin to the sun can age skin very rapidly.

  • In order to protect it you can also apply a thin mixture of red sandalwood powder and rosewater to your skin at least twice or thrice a week.

  • To protect your eyes you should splash lots of cold water on your eyes. You can also some cotton pads in cold water and place them over your eyes to provide some coolness to your eyes.


Suggestions regarding your diet during summers
  • You should compulsorily drink lots of water through out the day. This will avoid the internal extra heat in your body. It will also add a new stock of moisture that is lost due to the heat and sweat and also help to flush toxins out of the body. This will help your skin to look clear.

  • Avoid cold waters and iced beverages because they become the barrier in digestion and can create toxins in our body leading to skin breakouts.

  • You should eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, which supply the skin nutrients and also help to keep your skin cool.

  • Tender green (vegetable) and carrots are also good and healthy and that too makes an excellent vegetable choice.

  • You should also have some sweet juicy fruits such as pears, grapes and mangoes both nourish and cleanse the skin from within.

  • Fresh ginger, mint and basil add flavor and fragrance to dishes.

  • An important beverage like milk, supplies cooling and nutrients to your skin and helps to keep it from drying out.

  • Therefore you should drink a cup of milk every day. You can also grind and mix almonds in the milk that will make your skin glow.
      The most important suggesion regarding your health is that you should also take rest for at least 6 to 7 hours so that you remain fresh through out the day
